Submitting contributions to the symposium

How to submit a contribution

To submit a contribution (paper, poster, or demo) to be presented at the symposium, please send an abstract of not more than 500 words. Send your abstract as a PDF attachment to  Clare Casson to arrive no later than 5pm GMT on Monday 20 March 2017. The email should:

  • state if the author has a preference between poster or oral presentation
  • indicate the author’s affiliation (if it isn’t clear on the abstract)

Relevant topics

We invite submissions of extended abstracts for talks and posters presenting research on activity enabling technologies, including:

  • Interaction design
  • User needs
  • Individual and social behaviour with such technologies
  • Theory and principles for design
  • Methods for designing, regulating, and testing

Key dates

  • Submission deadline: 5pm GMT Monday 20 March 2017
  • Notification of acceptance: Friday 1 April 2017
  • Symposium dates: 24–25 May 2017
